Under the direction of the Controller, the Deputy Director - Controller’s Office performs advanced level financial accounting, including participating in the completion of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, preparation for external audits and research and implementation of new accounting pronouncements. In addition, the Deputy Director oversees management level personnel who are responsible for the core processes of the Controller’s Office. These core processes include revenue processing, expenditure processing, fixed asset management, grant management, parking revenue management, hotel accounting and other general accounting activities.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field from an accredited college or university, AND
A licensed Certified Public Accountant, AND
Four (4) years of experience in auditing and/or accounting which must include two (2) years of supervisory experience.
