Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Responsible for management of direct reports including career development, training and growth.
Lead semi-annual planning and update meetings with firm management.
Responsible for quarterly estimated payments for states and cities in which the firm conducts business.
Responsible for holding and leading training sessions.
Responsible for tax planning and research for firm related items.
Draft or review certain legal agreements for partners entering or withdrawing from the firm.
Search for technology solutions to prepare returns efficiency.
Monthly financial reporting responsibilities for one of the firm’s entities.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA designation highly preferred.
Requires 5- 10 years of accounting experience. Must have tax acumen. Position does not require a tax expert, however it does require someone who is familiar with business taxes and has interest in providing this specialized function for the firm.
Technology skills including those required to be proficient with financial accounting and reporting systems and other word/graphics programs (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint); Core certification required. Use of Firm’s new Caseware product would be required.
