The Diocese of Gaylord is searching for a qualified and dedicated person to fill the position of Parish Auditor. This person is responsible for serving as a resource person, accountant and auditor for parishes and schools throughout the Diocese in all matters relating to bookkeeping, State and Federal taxation, fringe benefits, budget reports, financial statements and analysis of same. Some travel to visit various parishes and schools is expected.
Good communication skills, knowledge of the Catholic faith and ability to work with others required. Experience with Sage, Financial Edge and Raisers edge desired, data base knowledge a plus.
A person with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Certified Public Accountant is desired) and at least two (2) years of auditing experience is required. Interested candidates should apply on line at the Diocese of Gaylord website www.dioceseofgaylord.org. Deadline for applications is March 6, 2019.
