The Controller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, they will provide leadership and direction in the areas of accounting, corporate reporting, risk, compliance, finance and treasury. This is a hands-on position which requires both leadership skills as well as strong technical accounting skills. The Controller will manage all finance and accounting activities to provide information, both financial and non-financial, to key stakeholders both in and outside of the organization.
Detailed responsibilities include:
Perform all activities needed to complete a GAAP compliant timely close.
Complete all required financial reporting.
Administrator of accounting software, including report creation and chart of account organization
Lead and develop the existing accounting team.
Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, petty cash, expense reports, accounts receivables, cash control, payroll processing and applicable tax compliance.
Prepare for and execute the requirements for annual audit.
Monitoring of changes and updates to GAAP applicability to the Company’s financials statements
Assist in developing cash flow models and all related treasury functions.
Corporate tax compliance and workpaper preparation
Work with the CFO and relevant teams to complete annual budgets.
Oversee payroll function
Help in creating and reporting of company wide KPI’s.
Participate in special projects.
Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Bachelor degree in accounting or finance.
Eight years of hands-on accounting and managerial experience.
