Primary responsibility is to maintain tax compliance for the University. Position performs research and provides recommendations on various tax-related issues. Prepares various Federal, state and local tax returns. Prepares financial analyses, assists with year-end closing and performs various investment administration activities. Provides advice and training to the campus community.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel. Minimum three years broad-based accounting experience. Ability to use financial accounting technology including computer-based spreadsheet and database applications. Ability to manage complex financial activities and projects. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
CPA designation. Higher education experience.
