Positions available from Staff through Manager levels

Friedman & Associates, P.C., a full-service public accounting firm located in West Bloomfield, Michigan, is currently seeking detail driven team players to provide services to our small and medium-sized privately held businesses and high net-worth clients in the following roles:

Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager:

Working closely with Partners, preparing and reviewing business and individual tax returns (Federal and multi-states), including Partnerships, S-Corps, C Corps, tax planning for high net-worth clients, respond to inquires from taxing authorities, supervise junior tax and accounting staff.

Requirements: 8 plus years of recent public accounting tax experience, ability to prepare tax returns utilizing Pro Series or Ultra Tax. Trust tax preparation is a plus.

Staff Accountant:

Work closely with Partners and senior staff, preparing business and individual tax returns (Federal and multi-states), including Partnerships, S-Corps, C Corps, prepare financial statements for review and compilation engagements. Attention to detail with the flexibility to meet deadlines is essential.

Requirements: 5 plus years of recent public accounting tax experience, ability to prepare tax returns utilizing Pro Series or Ultra Tax. Trust tax preparation is a plus. Knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks and Peachtree are also a plus.
