Position Summary: This position is focused on task surrounding Accounts Payables and Fixed assets. A practical example of the work being performed includes fixed asset reconciling, budgeting and capital expenditure request, resolving supplier invoicing issues and entering payable information into the system. Key Responsibilities:
Manage match process with Docklink and Sage X3
Perform Fixed Asset reconciling, budgeting and capital expenditure request
Enter payables into the system to create vouchers
Manage check run and prepay process
Resolve supplier invoicing issues and answer payment inquiries
Complete supplier credit applications
Mail out vendor checks and attachments/supporting documents
Participate in team projects
Assist in month-end closes and annual processes
What We're looking for: A competitive candidate for this position will possess the following skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
4-5 years of experience assisting with month end closes, accounts payable and developing supporting work papers for journal entries
Strong Accounts Payable/Fixed Assets background
ERP/SAP experience – Sage is desirable
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding deadlines and continuous improvement – this can be as simple as refining a process or innovating a new way of doing things
