Alliance Catholic Credit Union is seeking an exceptional and experienced Accounting Supervisor who thrives in a well-organized, fast-paced, and multi-task driven environment. This position will report directly to the VP of Finance at our Admin location.

The ideal candidate:

Ensures accounting functions and duties are accurately and promptly completed.
Manage accounting functions to include AP, AR, budgets, cash flow, cost management, financial analysis, financial reporting and recordkeeping, GL, investments, fixed assets, and taxes.
Oversees the preparation of regulatory and governmental reports. Reviews financial information needed to ensure an accurate statement of the Credit Union’s financial position to various regulatory agencies.
Oversees the Credit Union’s fixed asset and depreciation schedules.
Develop and implement processes to streamline credit union accounting procedures.
Assists with budget preparations and financial analyses. Monitors costs and expenses.
Prepares regular reports and statements for management, and periodically reviews management’s information needs to modify the reporting systems as needed. Conducts special accounting studies, analyses, and projects, as requested.
Ensures accounting functions are completed in accordance with established procedures and applicable regulations.
Develop and maintain additional computer-based analyses and reports such as Profitability and ALM models.
Develops and implements operational plans, policies, and procedures.
Continually evaluates established policies and procedures, and updates or modifies them as necessary. Ensures that policies are in accordance with evolving regulations, legal requirements, accounting principles, and industry trends.
Supervises the development and implementation of financial information and control systems, including general ledger, budgeting, cost accounting, mortgage accounting, and other subsystems.
Effectively coaches, leads, develops and supervises the Accounting Department, ensuring optimal performance.

A successful candidate will be an approachable team player with a personable and professional demeanor, a desire to learn and driven to achieve outstanding results---accurately and efficiently. We seek a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 3+ years of accounting experience in a Credit Union or bank environment. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Symitar experience is a plus. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3+ years of accounting experience in a Credit Union or bank environment
Previous supervisor experience is preferred
