The Senior Accountant will assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and reconciliations for Athletic Department operating funds.  This position will perform various financial analyses and process journal entries on complex financial statement line items, and monitor and enhance key Business Office procedures, policies, and internal controls.  The Senior Accountant will assist with the preparation of financial reporting required by Athletic Department Leadership Team, University Regents, NCAA, and any other regulatory agencies.  This position will participate in the external financial statement audit and assist in all aspects of developing and preparing the annual operating budget.
