What You’ll Do

As a senior advisor, you’ll be at the forefront of EPCOR’s internal audit initiatives by:

• Leading and coordinating IT, operational, and financial audit engagements
• Designing audit protocols for complex systems, including cybersecurity and AI
• Identifying risks and recommending improvements across digital infrastructure
• Collaborating with internal and external experts to deliver high-impact audits
• Writing detailed reports with actionable recommendations
• Mentoring team members and fostering knowledge-sharing
• Supporting follow-up on audit recommendations and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaborative spirit:

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of IT audit, engineering or plant operations experience, plus 3+ years in financial, operational and general audit
• Professional designations like CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, PMP, or P.Eng. (preferred)
• Experience in utilities, cybersecurity, AI, or regulatory compliance
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Knowledge of internal audit standards and risk/control principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SharePoint
• Willingness to travel across Canada and the U.S.
