ClearBlue Infrastructure Group, a fast-scaling North American program and project delivery infrastructure firm specializing in complex, mission-critical energy-transition projects, is seeking a hands-on Controller to join their team. This individual will oversee daily financial operations and act as the project financial controller across multiple infrastructure programs in a high-performance EPCM/project-delivery organization. The Controller must confidently operate within a multi-entity, cross-border structure and provide financial support to project teams, including monitoring budgets, flagging margin erosion, and leading weekly project financial reviews. The role requires setting up jobs, cost codes, and budgets, maintaining accurate project financial records, tracking costs, conducting root-cause analysis, and preparing monthly reporting. Additionally, responsibilities include PO controls, full-cycle bookkeeping, cost control, cashflow support, payroll management, and improving financial tracking tools and processes. The ideal candidate is confident in financial judgment, hungry for career progression, obsessed with accuracy, and adept at problem-solving. Success in this role entails maintaining clean and accurate books, monitoring budgets effectively, supporting project managers, elevating PO discipline, and identifying margin erosion proactively.
- 5-10+ years of bookkeeping or project accounting in construction/EPCM
- Experience tracking budgets vs. actuals and margin erosion
